I’ve been working as an Illustrator – Background Artist for over 35 years. I’ve worked with countless clients and full time at studios such as Fox Feature Animation , Nelvana and most recently Aristocrat Technologies as a Senior Illustrator.
Below are the various galleries with a brief description of the art.
I can work in various styles to suit your needs but as you can see from the samples. It’s been described as “retro airbrushed” which I think is a good description.
This is the place of happy art and that’s the kind of art I like to create and deliver. This gallery is just people. Caricatures for the most part but if need be I can stick to a more realistic look.
Gaming
The art here is from the casino gaming industry. Slot machines to be precise. There is top screen art and symbol art. Top screen art is the more elaborate pieces that have backgrounds of some kind.
Christmas
Well – Christmas theme art. Not much more to say here.
Backgrounds
This gallery is background art for various tv productions, games and feature animation. The Paris rooftop and the Shanghi street scene were done at Fox Feature Animation.
